A few notes and thoughts. This is the real nut — why do we want what we think we want. Once we know what we want, we must with brutal honesty, ask why we want it. It is rarely cut and dried. As many times goals, are based on true internally intrinsic conditions, but have secondary conditions which are external and not as pure. Sometimes, these secondary motivations, for example social status / approval can not only influence the direction, speed and path to one’s goal, but over time end up steering it away from the goal. And it is only with rigorous honesty and a strong self awareness, can we make certain they why keeping our goals in sight and on the right path. Many people spend their whole lives climbing the ladder of success only to find when they reach the top the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall. With the proper why, you will be leaning against the right wall.
