Success can become a catalyst for failure.
Whenever an individual or business decides that success has been attained, progress stops. – Watson
People are constantly succeeding in environments, when in reality, if they were to poll the “experts” in their field about the plans and ideas — they would have been given a 100% vote of failure. As we move through life we become our own expert with our past successes strongly becoming our rigid guide.. This is the problem of being “overexperienced” — our experience may tell us us many future paths are simply not possible, when in reality they are. We procrastinate, we ignore, and the problem is further compounded by the problem of inertia. Going from 0 to 1, from full stop to some motion, is in some cases more difficult than speeding up from 2 to 10 — full speed. With help — and sometimes not that much — just a little push not only can you become unstuck but quickly move to full speed ahead!
